What is the destiny of a Druze girl who believes in God and His Messenger if she remains in her religion? And does she displease God if she leaves her family, travels, marries a Muslim, and converts to Islam, knowing that the parents' رضا (pleasure/satisfaction) is part of God's رضا (pleasure/satisfaction)?

We ask Allah to grant the questioner guidance and success. We refer her to Fatwa no. 31235 to learn that the beliefs of the aforementioned sect constitute disbelief in Allah and His Messengers, and that whoever dies upon them is destined for the Hellfire. It is not permissible for Muslims to marry them. We call upon her to disavow those beliefs and to adhere to Islam and steadfastness upon it, even if her family rejects it, citing the noble verse: "And We have enjoined upon man goodness to parents. But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, then do not obey them. To Me is your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do." (Al-Ankabut: 8). We advise her to consult Fatwa no. 63018 regarding how to treat non-Muslim relatives kindly. The pleasure of parents is only to be sought in matters that do not involve disobedience to Allah. There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. She should emulate the story of Sa'd with his mother, as mentioned by Muslim, when he refused to abandon his religion despite his mother's insistence, whereupon Allah revealed the same verse. We call upon her to submit to Allah and believe in Him, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and divine destiny, both its good and its evil, and to be steadfast upon that so that her marriage to a Muslim becomes permissible. If she does not have a Muslim guardian, she should appoint a just Muslim man to officiate her marriage. Her parents' refusal is irrelevant due to the principle that a disbeliever has no guardianship over a Muslim. Refer to Fatwa no. 63634 in this regard, and Fatawa no. 32622 and 34504 concerning the ruling on love in Islam and how to deal with it.
