Does feeding bees sugar to produce adulterated honey contradict Allah Almighty’s saying: “There comes forth from their bellies a drink of varying colors in which there is healing for people”?

The Quranic verse that speaks of the healing in honey (An-Nahl: 68-69) refers to honey produced by bees that feed on the fruits of plants and trees, not on sugar. This is clear from the context of the verse, which describes the bees feeding "from all fruits." Furthermore, understanding the texts of revelation depends on the prevailing custom at the time of their revelation. At that time, the well-known and commonly used honey for treatment was natural honey resulting from bees feeding on flowers and plants. Therefore, the honey mentioned in the verse is a specific type of natural honey whose bees feed on the fruits of the earth, and its quality varies depending on the type of food.
