Is it permissible for me to continue to hope for marriage to a married woman, knowing that I have seen visions which I interpreted as glad tidings of that, along with changes in my household circumstances to align with what I saw in the dream, and knowing that she may have abandoned prayer and returned to displaying her adornments after her marriage to someone else, and being certain that Allah is All-Powerful over everything?

As long as this woman is married, leave her be. You are not to be blamed for the love you harbor in your heart for her, but do not display this attachment to anyone, as that might ruin her marital life. Occupy yourself with what benefits you in this world and the hereafter, and turn away from fantasies and aspirations for what cannot be legitimately attained.
