Is it permissible for me to pray alone at my residence in Britain for a week, knowing that the nearest mosque is one and a half kilometers away, the adhan is not heard, and it is difficult for me to go to the mosque five times a day?

Whoever hears the call (adhan (definition)) in the usual voice must answer it and attend congregational prayer in the mosque, unless there is an excuse such as fear or illness. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, emphasized its importance, urged prayer in mosques, and condemned those who lag behind. As for someone who is far from the mosque and does not hear the call except through a loudspeaker, they are not obligated to attend the mosque. They may pray in congregation with those who are with them, and if they do attend, they will receive multiplied rewards. Scholars have stipulated regarding the criterion for hearing the call that the muezzin should have a strong voice, the ambient sounds should be quiet, the wind still, and the listener not distracted or heedless.
