It is not prescribed to insert a finger into the anus; rather, only what is visible should be washed. Wash the private parts until you have a strong presumption that the impurity has been removed, then stand up, and do not pay attention to doubts. As for ghusl (ritual bath), it is sufficient to have a strong presumption that the water has been spread thoroughly and has covered the entire body. Standing under a shower is enough for the water to reach. Whenever you have a strong presumption of purity, your obligation is discharged, and your prayer is valid. Using soap is not obligatory.
