Is it reported that a Muslim kisses his eyes upon hearing the name of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

What is prescribed for a Muslim upon hearing the name of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is to invoke blessings and peace upon him, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "May the nose of a man be rubbed in the dust, in whose presence I am mentioned and he does not invoke blessings upon me," and "The miser is he in whose presence I am mentioned and he does not invoke blessings upon me." As for kissing the eyes or the thumbs upon mentioning him (peace be upon him), this is an innovated bid'ah (religious innovation). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever performs a deed that is not in accordance with our matter, it will be rejected," and "Beware of newly invented matters, for every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is a misguidance." This innovation was invented by some Sufi orders. It is incumbent upon a Muslim to avoid innovations and follow the Qur'an and Sunnah, for the religion has been perfected.
