Is anal sex permissible or forbidden, given the contradiction between what is narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith No. 4170 and 4171) and what is stated on your website?
Sound, continuously transmitted hadiths prohibit anal intercourse with one's wife, and emphasize the consensus of the Companions and scholars on this matter. The verse, "Your women are a tilth for you, so approach your tilth however you will" (Quran 2:223), has been misunderstood by some. It permits different sexual positions only in the place of cultivation (the vagina), not the anus. This is supported by multiple narrations regarding the revelation of the verse, which confirm that the intention is to approach the vagina from various positions, not to engage in anal intercourse. What has been attributed to Ibn Umar in this regard may be an error by narrators or an (independent reasoning) that was later proven wrong, as it is authentically established that he considered it forbidden.
