Is it permissible for a brother who works as a supervisor in an educational center to take a beardless young student with him daily to a horse farm, out of fear for him of mixing [with others], when they are often alone, or is this considered seclusion with him?

It is obligatory to think well of a Muslim and avoid thinking ill of them. The amrad (beardless youth) has two situations: The first is that he is not beautiful and does not cause temptation, in which case his ruling is the same as that of other men. The second is that he is beautiful and there is a fear of temptation from him, and this has two sub-situations: Looking at him and interacting with him without pleasure, in which case his ruling is the same as the first situation according to the majority of scholars. As for looking at him and interacting with him with pleasure, it is forbidden, and he is like a woman. Everything that leads to temptation, such as looking at and being in seclusion with an amrad from whom temptation is feared, must be avoided. Otherwise, there is no harm in his companionship and being in seclusion with him. Everything that causes temptation is impermissible. Therefore, looking that leads to temptation is forbidden, except for an overriding benefit. It is not permissible to look at a non-mahram woman, nor at an amrad with pleasure. Looking at a beautiful amrad with pleasure is like looking at a young woman. Looking at an amrad with lust is unanimously forbidden. Looking at the face of an amrad with lust is like looking at one's female mahrams or a non-mahram woman with lust, by agreement of the Imams.
