And is the wife considered sinful if her husband gets angry with her during these discussions?

The wife is advised to continue supplicating to Allah for her husband's guidance, and to counsel him gently and wisely, seeking assistance from righteous people to help him. She should also provide him with religious materials that address forbidden acts and remind him of Allah's punishment and the happiness of those who repent. Furthermore, she must obey him in what is good and show him love and compassion. His anger towards her because of her counsel carries no sin.
