What is the ruling on one who inserts something into his anus?

Whoever is afflicted with such deviant acts must repent to Allah from them and honestly confront themselves to get rid of their causes, such as an empty heart devoid of faith, forbidden gazes, a life empty of useful work, and isolation from people. They must hasten to fill their heart with faith, their life with righteous deeds, marry a righteous woman, and get rid of watching forbidden things and isolation. It should be known that these acts cause severe psychological and physical pain. One must also remember to be modest before Allah and His angels, and fear death and the reckoning that follows it. A good ending is for those whose outward conduct is upright and whose inner self is righteous.
