I would like a brief overview of the history of Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem)?

Jerusalem and its environs in the Levant were inhabited by the Canaanite Arabs, then the Jebusites. Then, the Children of Israel entered it by force. Control over it successively passed to the Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, who destroyed it, then the Christians, until the Islamic conquest came in 638 CE. It remained under Muslim rule, with the exception of 93 years during which the Crusaders ruled it before Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi liberated it, until the Jews seized it through deceit with the help of colonial powers after the fall of the Islamic Caliphate.
