Islam encourages and promotes marriage due to the many benefits it entails. It is superior to supererogatory acts of worship because it encompasses numerous advantages. Abstaining from marriage without a legitimate excuse goes against the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Marriage may even become obligatory for those who fear falling into temptation by remaining unmarried.

The sister who does not desire marriage should be advised gently and kindly. When marriage is mentioned, she should not utter the words you mentioned. It is wise not to raise the topic in her presence.

Marriage is a provision from Allah, and one must supplicate and rely on Him, while also taking the necessary steps and searching for a righteous spouse. There is no harm in a woman modestly offering herself for marriage to a righteous man.

One must beware of the whispers of Satan and despair, and neither dwell on the past nor harbor ill suspicions about the actions of parents.
