The meaning of a mutawatir report might be explicit (nass), allowing for only one interpretation, or it might be open to several interpretations. The truth is that a mutawatir report is definitively established with certainty, as it is habitually impossible for its narrators to conspire in falsehood. There is no contradiction between the definitive nature of its establishment and the mind's allowance for their possible collusion in falsehood, because what is habitually impossible does not occur, despite its intellectual possibility.
