What is the ruling on entering hair styling websites and downloading pictures from them to choose a hairstyle, then editing the pictures by erasing the facial features and keeping only the hairstyle, and saving it on the device?

A Muslim should elevate their concerns beyond tracking fashion trends, while not neglecting a beautiful appearance and avoiding affectation. There is no harm in keeping pictures of hairstyles where the facial features are obscured. It is a condition for the permissibility of adopting these hairstyles that they do not involve imitation of disbelievers or transgressors, nor imitation of men by women or vice versa.
