Is it true that every day in Ramadan there are 70,000 freed from the Fire, and how can we be among them?
Whoever fasts Ramadan and observes night prayers out of faith and hope for reward, and preserves the obligatory duties, and avoids prohibitions, and performs good deeds such as recitation, remembrance, seeking forgiveness, maintaining kinship ties, spending [in charity], and enjoining good, their sins will be forgiven, and it is hoped that they will be among those freed from the Fire. This is based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has those freed from the Fire at every breaking of the fast, and that is on every night." It has not been reported that Allah frees 70,000 every day.
