Is it permissible for the fiancé to visit his fiancée and sit with her in the presence of mothers after a fully compliant engagement ceremony (Jāhah) and before the marriage contract is documented, knowing that the fiancée wears a Niqab and uncovers her face in front of her fiancé?

"Al-Jahah" is a contract in which offer and acceptance occur, and it entails all the consequences of a valid Islamic contract. Thus, the woman becomes a wife, and everything becomes permissible for her husband except intercourse until consummation. Separation after Al-Jahah does not occur except by divorce or annulment. Her divorce before consummation necessitates half the Mahr, and after seclusion, the full Mahr. The belief that the absence of contract documentation permits separation without divorce is a grave error, as the marital bond is legally established.
