Is the first row at the Kaaba the one adjacent to it?

The first row around the Kaaba is the row connected to the Imam, even if it is circular, or if some of it is not directly in front of the Imam, or closer to the Kaaba than him, as long as there is no row separating it from the Imam. The reason for its superiority is the greater devotion due to the absence of distractions in front of those praying there.
