The answer

Fatwas should only be taken from those qualified to issue them. It is obligatory to love and revere the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for Allah the Almighty and His Messenger praised them. Insulting them is a defamation of the religion. Accusing the Mother of Believers, Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, of that from which Allah has cleared her, is disbelief that expels one from the faith. Therefore, it is not permissible to adopt the views of anyone who insults the Companions. A Muslim must learn Allah's ruling on every action before undertaking it, and means of connecting with upright scholars are readily available.
