Is the grave the final resting place for the deceased, as is commonly believed?

Graves are not the final abodes; rather, they are a stage. A Bedouin, by his innate understanding, realized that beyond visiting graves lies a destiny, as he said: "By God, the visitor is not a resident." The common saying "the final resting place" is a great error, and its implication is disbelief (kufr), because it means that there is nothing after the grave, whereas the final abode is either Paradise or Hell.
