The answer

If you can advise those who engage in falsehood and gently and wisely forbid them from evil, while constantly disapproving of their actions, then there is no harm in associating with them. This is based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever hates it has disassociated himself, and whoever denounces it has saved himself." And based on the Almighty's saying: "And there is no accountability upon those who fear Allah concerning them at all, but only a reminder that perhaps they may fear Allah."
