Is it permissible to divide the inheritance among some while disinheriting others?

Allah Almighty divided inheritances in His Book, establishing them as boundaries that must be observed and not transgressed. Depriving an heir of their share is a major sin, a clear injustice, and a transgression of Allah's limits. The matter becomes more severe if the wronged party is a woman, as this resembles the actions of the people of pre-Islamic ignorance (Jahiliyyah) and is a squandering of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) admonition, who warned against neglecting the rights of the two vulnerable ones: the orphan and the woman. There is no difference in entitlement to inheritance between types of wealth, nor between heirs based on their differing circumstances.
