What is the wisdom behind the prohibition of dealing with jinn, even though they are a creation among God's creations and some of them are believers, taking into account the permissibility of dealing with other creatures that may be misused, and how is the use of jinn by our master Solomon (peace be upon him) explained?

Dealing with jinn is not absolutely forbidden; rather, it is permissible in permissible matters and forbidden in forbidden matters. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that humans using jinn falls into three categories: forbidden, by seeking their assistance in forbidden matters; permissible, by seeking their assistance in permissible matters; and praiseworthy (mustahabb), by using them in obedience to Allah and His Messenger. Indeed, the jinn were subjugated to Sulayman (peace be upon him), but Allah preserved them from deviation and corruption. Allah says: "And We were their guardians" and "And whoever among them deviates from Our command, We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze."
