The answer

An independent dwelling is a right for the wife to exercise her privacy. The husband may host whomever he wishes, but not in a way that harms the wife. The wife's service to her husband's guests should not be a burden on her; rather, he should assist her or provide her with a maid if she is among those who do not serve themselves. If the house is owned by the husband and he permits his family to stay in it during the wife's absence, there is no objection, but they are not allowed to dispose of the wife's furniture except with her consent. It is recommended that the wife have a private room for her needs. Understanding should prevail between the spouses.
