Is the Hadith, "All people are dead except for the scholars, and all scholars are asleep except for those who act [upon their knowledge], and all those who act are deluded except for the sincere! And the sincere are in great danger," authentic?

This statement is not an authentic Prophetic Hadith; rather, it is fabricated and attributed to some ascetics. It was mentioned in Shaykh Al-Albani's Silsilat al-Ahadith ad-Da'ifah wal-Mawdu'ah (Series of Weak and Fabricated Hadiths) that the hadith: "All people are dead except for the knowledgeable, and all the knowledgeable are doomed except for those who act (upon their knowledge), and all those who act are drowned except for the sincere, and the sincere are in great danger," is fabricated. It resembles the sayings of Sufis, such as Sahl al-Tustari and Dhul-Nun al-Misri.
