The question

Is it permissible to mention the multiplier after any good deed, such as reciting the Qur'an, by saying: "the number of His creation, the pleasure of His Self, and the weight of His words," or "Allah is sufficient for me, and how excellent a guardian He is, the number of His creation, the pleasure of His Self, the weight of His Throne, and the extent of His words"?

The answer

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded adherence to his Sunnah and the Sunnah of theguided caliphs, and he forbade innovations and heresies, for every heresy is a misguidance. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also clarified that everything that draws one closer to Paradise and further from Hell has been made clear. It was not reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor from his companions, that they said "Allah the Almighty has spoken the truth" after finishing the recitation of a surah from the Quran. Therefore, this action is not legislated and resembles an innovation.
