The answer

Imam An-Nawawi is Muhyi Ad-Din Abu Zakariya An-Nawawi Ad-Dimashqi Ash-Shafi'i. He was born in Nawa in the year 631 AH, memorized the Qur’an, read "At-Tanbih" in four and a half months, and a quarter of "Al-Ibadat" (Acts of Worship) in the remainder of the year. He then devoted himself to scholars, studying twelve lessons daily. He focused on authorship, producing numerous works, some of which he completed, such as "Sharh Muslim," "Ar-Rawda," and "Riyadh As-Salihin," and some which he did not, such as "Al-Majmu'." He was an ascetic, devout, and pious individual, never wasting his time, enjoining good and forbidding evil. He passed away in the year 676 AH.
