How do we answer a four-year-old who asks why Allah did not defend His House, and what does Allah wear?
A child of this age does not grasp the meanings of Allah's attributes. It is sufficient to guide him with generalities, and that Allah Almighty is not to be compared to His creation, "There is nothing like unto Him." So, one should not imagine Him having clothes or sitting in a house, for He is greater, all-encompassing, capable of everything, and His command is effective, "Be, and it is." He is capable of causing creatures to die and come to life in an instant. Such questions should be diverted by providing simplified information about the stories of the prophets and the lives of the Companions.
