Is the Fajr prayer performed immediately after the two Rak'ahs of Fajr?

It is recommended for one who has prayed the two rak'ahs of Fajr to separate them from the Fajr (morning) prayer with an interval, such as speaking or lying down, in imitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who would lie down on his right side after the two rak'ahs of Fajr.
