What is the ruling on one who raises his voice at his father, objecting to filial piety, and is this considered an act of disbelief (kufr)?

The son must honor his father and treat him with kindness, avoiding harm and angering him. He should discuss matters with him politely, in a low voice, and with humility. Raising one's voice at the father is not permissible, even when commanding good or forbidding evil. The son must obey his father in matters that benefit both and do not harm the son. Disobeying and raising one's voice are not acts of disbelief, unless it is done out of considering lawful what Allah Almighty has forbidden. A Muslim must fully submit to the law of Allah and what He and His Messenger have decreed, and be content and compliant with His rulings. For whoever objects to Allah's law and considers it lawful may commit an act of disbelief if the conditions are met and impediments are absent.
