It is recommended for one who prostrates for recitation during prayer to say 'Allahu Akbar' when going down and when rising. Al-Nawawi said: "And whoever prostrates in it (the prayer) should say 'Allahu Akbar' when going down and when rising, and should not raise his hands." Malik said: "Whoever recites a verse of prostration in prayer should say 'Allahu Akbar' when prostrating for it and when raising his head from it."
