Should thoughts and whispers related to the Divine Self be disregarded, despite the speaker's hatred for them, and does the hadith: "Indeed, Allah has overlooked for my Ummah what they whisper to themselves, so long as they do not act upon it or speak of it," apply to them?

Allah accepts repentance from His servants, and a person who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. Hating whispers (waswas) is a sign of true faith, and one must turn away from them and not pay attention to them, for they do no harm because Allah has overlooked for this nation what they whisper to themselves, as long as they do not act upon it or speak it. Continue to resist these whispers until Allah removes them from you.
