Is prayer in the Rawdah a causal prayer?

Prayer in the Rawdah Sharifa is not prescribed during times when prayer is forbidden. The desire for its reward is not a reason that permits performing voluntary prayers during these forbidden times. Nor is it among the prayers that are permissible, according to those who allow performing prayers with specific causes during forbidden times, just as there is a difference of opinion regarding the permissibility of prayer in Mecca absolutely, even during forbidden times.
