ما هو النصاب الشرعي للمال بالدولار أو الدينار الأردني؟

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The Shari (legal) threshold for zakat is assessed in gold or silver, and what is more beneficial for the poor is what is considered. So, if the wealth reaches the value of two hundred dirhams (595 grams of silver) or twenty mithqals (85 grams of gold) and a full year has passed over it, then zakat of a quarter of a tenth (2.5%) becomes obligatory on it, whether it is in dinars or dollars, by associating currency with gold and silver, and it is measured by what is most beneficial for the poor.
