Is the prince mentioned in the ḥadīth about the conquest of Constantinople Muhammad al-Fatih, or another leader? And will there be a leader of the army in the second conquest?

The hadith (definition) in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, praised the commander who would conquer Constantinople and his army was narrated by Imam Ahmad and others. In it, he says, "Constantinople will certainly be conquered. How excellent the commander will be, and how excellent the army will be." Some scholars have discussed its chain of narration, and even if it is authentic, we cannot be certain that this conquest is the one that occurred under the leadership of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror in 1453 CE. In fact, some scholars have decisively stated the contrary.

Constantinople will be conquered a second time at the end of time, before the Hour is established, without fighting, but rather with Takbir and Tahlil. This hadith does not mention the commander of the army, but there must be a leader for the conquerors, and this leader will not be Mehmed the Conqueror. The hadith that mentions this conquest was narrated by Muslim and others, and it does not include praise for the commander or his army.
