Is it permissible to use educational CDs that include music as a tool for teaching English, knowing that their use is part of one's work duties?

Music is among the forbidden ma'azif (musical instruments/amusements) according to the majority of scholars. Therefore, the default ruling is that it is impermissible to use educational CDs/discs that contain music, due to the act of listening to music oneself and making students listen to it. This is not permissible শরعًا (Islamically/legally).
