The answer

The Gospels found today are distorted and are not the Injil (Gospel) revealed to Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him. They contain disbelief and falsehood, such as the gratitude of Christians to a lord they claim is Jesus or who has a son. It is not permissible to assist in the dissemination of a book that contains disbelief or calls to the distorted Gospels, whether by reviewing, editing, or printing it, for Allah the Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression" (Quran 5:2), and because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without diminishing their rewards in the slightest. And whoever calls to misguidance will have a sin like the sins of those who follow him, without diminishing their sins in the slightest." Therefore, it is not permissible to edit or review this book.
