I have a friend and I don't want to lose him, please advise me?

It is advisable to change the intention of the relationship with a friend to brotherhood and love for the sake of Allah, in order to attain the reward of brotherhood for Allah's sake. Allah the Almighty said: "Close friends on that Day will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous." (43:67) And among the reasons for the continuation of the relationship between those who love each other for the sake of Allah is to reduce sins and hasten to repentance, because sins separate those who love each other. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No two people loved each other for the sake of Allah but were separated except by a sin committed by one of them."
