What is the ruling on saying "Azzouzi" instead of "Abdul Aziz," and is it forbidden because it is a diminutive of the name of Allah, "Al-Aziz"?

It is permissible to use diminutive forms of names dedicated to God and other names. No scholar has prohibited this, and it is common in hadiths. Easing, endearment, and affection in addressing someone are well-known styles among Arabs. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to call Aisha "Ya 'Aish" and Abu Hurairah "Ya Aba Hur." He also commanded Uthman ibn Affan to write, saying to him: "Write 'Uthm."
