Does delaying the ritual bath (ghusl) after a wet dream until the next day affect the validity of a make-up fast?

A wet dream does not affect the validity of the fast because it is involuntary. However, a ghusl (ritual bath) becomes obligatory if semen is discharged, based on the hadith of Umm Salamah: "Yes, if she sees water." Muslims have unanimously agreed on the obligation of ghusl upon the emission of semen. Delaying ghusl from janabah (state of ritual impurity) does not affect the validity of the fast, but prayer is not valid without it. Delaying ghusl until the next day leads to missing prayers or performing them without purification, which is a great sin requiring repentance and making up the missed prayers.
