What is the ruling on swearing an oath not to touch the private parts of one's contracted wife until consummation, and then feeling rushed and regretful about this oath?

The woman became a legitimate wife as soon as the contract was concluded, and what is permissible for spouses became permissible for them both, taking into account the customs regarding delaying the consummation. There is no harm in the touching and kissing that occurred between them. As for the pledge he made, it is an oath of obstinacy (nadhr lajaj), and the one who made it has the choice between fulfilling it or paying an expiation for an oath (kaffarat yamin).
