Is it permissible to pray Tahajjud daily at home individually, whether during or outside of Ramadan?

Tahajjud is performing the night vigil after sleeping, and it is a supererogatory act with immense reward. It is permissible to regularly perform it at home, whether in Ramadan or otherwise. It is preferable to perform it at home outside of Ramadan, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O people, pray in your homes, for the best of prayers is a person's prayer in his home, except for the obligatory ones." This is also because Tahajjud is not among the supererogatory prayers for which congregational prayer is legislated.
