Is it permissible to speak with a girl if the intention is pure and her honor is preserved, as one of the imams stated?

It is not permissible for a girl and a non-mahram man to speak to each other except out of necessity, and only to the extent of that necessity, while observing the Sharia guidelines such as avoiding seclusion, not speaking in a soft and alluring manner, and ensuring there is no fear of temptation (fitna). What is claimed to be with good intention and pure purpose does not permit such conversation; rather, it is one of the devil's pathways.
