Should a student complete their mixed-gender university education if only one year remains until graduation?

The mixing of men and women in universities is forbidden (haram), and its danger is not hidden. Could any sincere, zealous Muslim have ever imagined that this struggling Ummah, which Allah made the best nation brought forth for mankind and a witness over all other nations, would reach a state where its young men sit beside its young women in universities?! Allah suffices us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
