What is the ruling on encouraging children to perform the Dawn prayer with money or gifts?

There is no harm in encouraging children to attend the mosque with prizes and gifts, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged good deeds with rewards. There is no harm in giving incentive prizes for memorizing the Quran, because they are a means to achieve a noble, legitimate goal. Students should be guided to purify their intention for Allah Almighty in their memorization, and that prizes are secondary and not the primary objective.
