Is it considered Islamically permissible to pay an additional monthly sum as office fees and another sum for home insurance, within the conditions of a non-profit organization for building a home?

We have previously answered concerning the ruling on cooperative societies and their permissible objectives. As for home insurance, its ruling can be found in Fatwa No. 30313, which states that some forms are permissible cooperative insurance, and others are forbidden commercial insurance. The questioner should verify the type of insurance they are asking about. Regarding the additional amount paid to the cooperative society, if it is for the benefit of the society's services and brings benefit to its members, then there is no harm in it.
