Is it true that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best remedy is cupping," and "I did not pass by a group of angels on the night of my Isra (Night Journey) except that they said: 'O Muhammad, tell your Ummah to cup themselves'"?

The first Hadith: "The best medicine is cupping and phlebotomy" is weak with this wording, but its meaning is correct. As for the second Hadith: "The best medicine is oral administration (ladūd), nasal drops (sa'ūt), walking, cupping, and leeches" is weak. It has been authentically reported from Anas that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the best remedies you have are cupping and sea incence (al-qist al-bahri)." And in a narration by Muslim: "Indeed, the best remedy you have is cupping, or it is among your best remedies." Al-Tirmidhi narrated from Ibn Mas'ud that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, spoke about the night of Isra and Mi'raj, saying that he did not pass by any assembly of angels except that they commanded him to enjoin his Ummah to perform cupping. This Hadith is Hasan Gharib and was authenticated by Al-Albani.
