Is it permissible for a young man to leave his father's house, taking his mother and siblings with him, without his father's permission, given that the father physically and psychologically abuses the mother and children, and prevents the mother from visiting her family?

We recommend supplicating for the father and offering him advice from scholars and virtuous people whose words are likely to be accepted, while utilizing his good deeds, such as the Adhan and prayer, to demonstrate their effect on behavior. It is not permissible for the mother to leave the house without the father's permission except out of necessity, such as to avert his harm, and similarly, taking out the children if that is the only means to avert harm. As for the adult, he may go wherever he wishes, and it is not permissible for the father to prevent his wife from visiting her parents without a legitimate reason. Forgiving the father, showing piety towards him, and maintaining ties with him are always obligatory to the extent possible, and common practice is the reference for this.
