The answer

Mandal is a form of divination and claiming knowledge of the unseen. It is forbidden to go to its practitioners, and believing them is an act of disbelief (kufr) because the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer or a diviner and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him)." Allah did not place the cure for this Ummah in what He forbade for it. Rather, He commanded us to seek treatment through lawful means, as he (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah created both the ailment and the cure, so seek treatment but do not seek treatment with what is unlawful." Lawful means are sufficient without resorting to what is forbidden.
