Is masturbation permissible when one does not enjoy marital intimacy?

Masturbation is forbidden, and a married Muslim woman must fear Allah and be patient, remembering the blessing of marriage. She should frankly tell her husband that she does not enjoy intimacy well, and gently alert him to what she dislikes from him, for it is her right to have her needs fulfilled. The husband must be patient with his wife until she fulfills her desire and should not withdraw before she finishes.
