Is it permissible to be named Jad, such as Jad al-Haqq, Jad al-Kareem, and Jad al-Mawla?

There is no objection to naming someone "Jaad" singularly, or as a compound name like "Jaad al-Haqq" or "Jaad al-Kareem." "Jaad" is a past tense verb meaning "gave" or "became good." If the name is compounded, its meaning becomes "gave the truth" or "gave the generous/noble."
